The world is vast, yet our oceans - covering 71% of the planet - remain largely unexplored. As this view of the Pacific Ocean defines, we are only a minor presence on a blue sphere. Yet we are led to believe that human activity now controls a planetary system of such magnitude. Most of the Earth remains untouched and urban settlements cover only about 3% of the land area. While we debate Net Zero deadlines, we ignore the fact that the vast majority of the planet is unsuitable for agriculture or even human habitation - glaciers, rocky terrains, and deep wilderness. We have mapped more of the surface of Mars than our own ocean floors. Earth’s land area is a mere 149 million square kilometers, and it is far from a uniform human workshop. Deserts cover 33%, ice and frozen terrain 10%, remote forests 31% and mountains another 25%. These unseen frontiers do the heavy lifting, absorbing half of all human CO₂ emissions every year through photosynthesis and the soil. Surely it’s time to stop pretending humanity dominates a world where we have barely scratched the surface.

"If we were to meet the [the UN's climate] goals... we would see a CO₂ level right around 220 or so parts per million." "Extinction level CO₂ on this planet—when the CO₂ drops below a certain level, forests die and life does no longer thrive—that is 180 parts per million." "It's not good for us. Those proposals are not good for humans."

Water vapour accounts for 95% of greenhouse gases. CO₂ around 0.04% of the atmosphere. Volcanoes, oceans, and natural cycles dominate earth’s climate system. Yet we’re told human CO₂ is the driver of climate change. Questioning that isn’t denial, it’s basic science.

The ultimate authority on all questions involving life on earth, Al Gore, is now declaring that global warming is out, and global freezing is in. Safe bet that he found a whole new angle to line his pockets off the climate grift.
