All we want is for these major companies with all the power & money to stop butchering original stories and its source material. If they want woke BS then no problem, but create a NEW story with all the woke BS your heart desires. Hands off our already existing original stories! Oh wait, too late, they already butchered it beyond repair! 😡 Star Wars destroyed, Marvel destroyed, most of our animated favourites destroyed... what's next? LOTR and Harry Potter?

A Disney engineer with 12.5 years inside just confirmed what we've been saying for years: the people destroying franchises were a small, loud faction, not the whole company. The fact that "the vibe shift is real" is something a fired employee is telling us on his way out the door, rather than something Disney leadership has ever said publicly, tells you everything about corporate accountability. I'm glad Daws spoke up. I'm glad Disney might be course-correcting. But the Star Wars films, the Marvel Phase 4 wreckage, and years of alienated fans don't disappear because some executives got quiet. The bill is still coming due. Are you willing to give Disney a second chance if the product actually improves?

@StrangerNews11 Of course it mattered. 4 chimes, 4 kills, 4 gates in season 4. In season 5 they literally showed how they figured out that there were 12 spires for 12 kids that vecna needed to move the 2 worlds together. Will painted a mural of it on the barn wall.

So… why did Season 4 have so many clocks if none of them mattered in the finale? 😭

@fandompulse Disney destroys everything it touches lately. They ruin every good franchise. Like with Star Wars, look what they did with Marvel as well. Imagine if the new Harry Potter series was done at Disney? 😱

Pop culture commentator Peachy Keenan claims Disney destroyed the original Star Wars characters legacy: "Then reality struck: they made a trilogy that destroyed the OG characters. They elevated an insufferably annoying mary sue girl boss, added a pathetic loser son of Han, a divorced Leia and Han, a disillusioned and bitter Luke, and then killed Luke, Han, and Leia." Why did Disney do this?

I think in most cases with newer female power roles they struggle to find balance. In older movies women are mostly side characters to the male lead & are often portrayed as silly, naive, & in some cases just plain dumb. They are just there as eye candy for men. With the attempt to say that hey, not all women are like that, they went too far to the other side of the spectrum, which ironically, is also not what most women are. It's finding balance that matters, & not to generalize. Some women are girly & some are not, some are strong & some are not, some are smart & some are not. But to paint ALL women with the same brush is extremely backwards. To say that women can't be strong or powerful or clever or angry or have baggage is just not logical. Not all women are pretty, dainty, sweet, sometimes air-headed & naive as portrayed in almost all older movies. As a woman, I don't feel represented in neither old nor new movies. Each one is an attempt to blanket label all women as one thing, and in both cases they are wrong, in my humble opinion.

FUN FACT: Hollywood USED to know AND LOVE who Supergirl really was: Supergirl 1984 (Helen Slater): sweet, naive, optimistic, very “girl next door” — almost fairy-tale innocent with a strong moral core. Smallville 2007–2011 (Laura Vandervoort): more serious and alien, a bit detached at first — learns humanity over time. Supergirl 2015–2021 (Melissa Benoist): upbeat, earnest, compassionate, idealistic — very talkative and emotional, leans into hope and inspiration. Oh and one more thing: THEY WERE FEMININE AND BEAUTIFUL. THEN THE FEMINISTS CAME IN AND: The Flash 2023 (played by Sasha Calle): hardened, angry, traumatized — more warrior than symbol, stripped of the cheerful optimism - AND WITH MASCULINIZED COSTUME! Supergirl 2026 (Milly Alcock): darker, world-weary, more cynical AND SELFISH. In other words: She evolved from innocent, bubbly, hopeful and idealistic... ...to angry depressed, hardened and grim... ...because the female empowerment movement claimed her as an icon. Supergirl 2026 didn't have to be a flop. James Gunn's DC made it be that way. Can't wait to laugh at it fail.

This seems to be trend now... fuck up the casting and when fans have anything to say shout racist. The same happening now with the new Snape actor. He doesn't care that this particular race-swap changes the story, it's now all about the abuse he gets from racist fans. No-one talks about the death threats that JK Rowling is getting every single day! Tired of being called racist for pointing out that certain race-swaps changes the narrative or arc of a story. It's called common sense. How is that racist?

The Rings of Power Actor Ismael Cruz Córdova on how fans "racism" impacted him: “It hurt… It had a psychological and mental health impact. That’s something that I’m very, very open about so that people understand that what they do and say online really hurts people, really has an impact on us.” Is he the victim here?

Whatever you think about her books, what J.K. Rowling is doing right now matters more. She’s one of the most successful authors alive. She could have stayed quiet, protected her empire, and avoided the mob. Instead, she chose to speak up for women for sex-based rights, for single-sex spaces, for safeguarding. And she’s taken years of abuse for it. That isn’t hatred. That’s conviction. History tends to be kinder to people who stand their ground than to those who stay silent. Thank God For J.K Rowling and God Bless Her ✊❤️🙏

@fandompulse This is why I won't watch this bull. Why fuck up the source material from one of the greatest authors and stories ever told? Tolkien would never allow this if he was still with us. Such a shame how they see fit to ruin every single existing story instead of creating new ones.

Rings of Power Season 3 has cast Jamie Campbell Bower as a "handsome high-born knight" and potential new love interest for Galadriel. In Tolkien's text, Galadriel has been married to Celeborn since the First Age. She does not have a succession of love interests. The show invented Celeborn's death in Season 1 to give her a romance with a character who turned out to be Sauron. Season 2 pulled half the audience of Season 1. The show is still running. Three seasons in, has Rings of Power earned the right to keep rewriting Tolkien?

Why is EVERYTHING now about black Snape? It's almost like no other characters matter anymore. They are pushing this so hard it makes me sick. This is not what this story was supposed to be about. The black kid being bullied & hated by the white kids. Why bring that shit into this wholesome story?

@StrangerNews11 The Mind Flayer and Vecna (Henry) had a symbiotic relationship, and therefore it died when Vecna was killed. It was revealed in the last conversation between Will and Henry that Henry and the Mind Flayer was one, instead of it controlling Henry.
