@SageBucket_ Of course. (He hands him one pill of each.) That should be good. Unless you think you’ll need more—You don’t sound too good, dear Sage. This whole time we’ve talked you sound extremely ill! Maybe next time I should bring cough medicine too…

@SageBucket_ It was just incase, Sage. I bring a lot of stuff on me incase if someone needs something— melatonin isn’t on that list though… (He starts opening the medicine bottle.) So… definitely a no to the melatonin….?

@TruthKe3per Hmm... Crowd control... Maybe... that would be a help... Oh, yes, medicine! I almost forgot! I'm a bit dissapointed that you felt the need to bring melatonin, but that can be forgiven! (He set the bowl of soup down.)

@SageBucket_ Would it be overkill to tell you I’d volunteer to maybe help out sometimes..? I’m good at crowd control I’d like to believe. I wouldn’t want you getting more hurt than you actually are. Speaking of hurt… you should get something to drink so I can give you the medicine.

@TruthKe3per I've tried... yelling... but they completely ignore the lesson after that... I've even tried zipping their mouths shut- apologies for that, by the way- but my magic can only silence so many cookies before it gives me a headache. ..I'm stuck.

@SageBucket_ Do you know anything that would get there attention? Sounds like you need a teacher aid to come in and supervise these err… "Students," they just sound disrespectful. This may sound harsh but… have you tried to discipline them?

@TruthKe3per Hm... Yes, that is something that I can sadly relate to, even if only a little. My students have gotten quite... unruly.. over the past year or two... I always have to spend most of my time getting them to calm down... It takes all day, so I have to stay up late into the night.

@SageBucket_ (He looks back up, looking almost relieved for some reason.) It is, truly. Ever since I’ve taken on this new role of spreading truth from the spire it’s made me more… confused then happy. They want answers, but don’t like them. They want to learn, but are disappointed.

@TruthKe3per It's perfectly fine! I like hearing you speak. I kind of agree, too. I wish they didn't think that way though... Seeing so many cookies not know basic things is quite depressive, and, honestly, infuriating. (He took a spoonful of the soup.)

@SageBucket_ ah, not at all.. (He pours more into Sage’s bowl.) I guess the way I would put it is cookies are too apathetic these days. It’s a state of nihilism, I guess. They think that learning won’t matter and eventually it won’t mean anything in the long run… I’m.. rambling, sorry.

@TruthKe3per (He looked down at his bowl.) Oh! I barely realized I finished... If it's not too much a trouble, then yes. And- losing interest in learning..? Surely thats not true... Learning is the foundation for almost every activity you do...

@SageBucket_ Ah? What? Don’t focus on me, Sage! I’m here for you not me! A single sentence huh? Sounds like somebody else’s students I used to know… appears all cookiekind have slowly started to lose interest in knowledge and learning. A pity, really… (He pours more soup.) Want more?

@TruthKe3per No, no, I wouldn't want to bother you with something I can do myself! And... Yes, it is causing some of it.. Did you know that my students can't even write a complete sentence...!? ...I've noticed that you've been looking away this whole time, is everything alright?

@SageBucket_ (He doesn’t look back to face him, continuing to look at the floor as he eats.) ..I’m glad you like muffins, actually. I’m making a batch for a friend soon, would you like me to bring you some? I’m guessing the curriculum change is causing most of this uhm… paper work storm?

@TruthKe3per I see. I like muffins, quite a bit, surprisingly. Soups are always easy- but simple dishes can be quite filling and enjoyable. If you are so against leaving the spire, I could tell you whats been happening as of late? ...The cirriculum for my students has changed again......
