@ilybonten I think one obvious thing about Annie is she admires people who got courage to go against the flow. Bertolt is a total defeatist. He saw no beauty in the world.

not an opinion but i wonder what she saw in armin that she didn't find in bertholdt cuz i'm an aruani shipper and i don't like beruani AT ALL but i find it surprising that she fell for someone from the "enemy nation" and not the guy she grew up with & shares trauma with 😭😭

@Kuromiimew He thought of Krista as a goddess and cute. And Armin himself does not like being considered cute and get depressed to be mistaken for a girl. While he considered Jean and Eren looking like a devil. And he likes Annie. You are being very stereotypical esp with a work like AoT.

@sosayitditto5 Going against her father? She was put into severe training. Having compassion w the Paradisians? It was used against her, she was forced to kill Marco & lived w that fact. Even worse is that it was never her fault they were in that circumstance to begin with.

She did show remorse and she was the first one to do so, the ACTUAL problem with Annie is that she was aware of her complicity in the genocide of her own ethnic group and still decided to go on with the plan
