I'm going to approach Marathon as a non-hoarding game even though it's an extraction shooter. I want to experience the gameplay and get into Marathon lore. If I get continually wrecked, I don't care. I've got Destiny 2 as my hoarding game. #Marathon

I've seen enough about Marathon on social media that I've changed my mind and do want to play this game. I just want the experience of playing it. I'll pick it up today on Xbox. #Marathon

You just gave a massive middle finger to the Xbox platform and player base. £50 with all dlcs for ps and £69.99 to Xbox without any updated content. You’re last ip that gave Xbox relevance and you gave it away. You just list a 27 year Xbox consumer. You screwed up the 12k hours I put into eso. I promise you I will boycott anything Xbox and Bethesda going forward

PlayStation Stan's are now claiming that 1 or 2 exclusives from PlayStation a year is better than any of the thousands of PC exclusives. So if PlayStation exclusives are so great, why has PlayStation only sold about 92m PS5s and their best selling game is < 20m copies?

@TooDiffizzle It seems as if we had completely different experiences lol. Me and my friend group absolutely loved everything from the game, launch especially Destiny 1 was goated and they only thing people were turned off by was destiny 2 lol. Maybe we played different games idk.

Marathon might be the best Bungie release/launch in almost 20 years. It's actually insane to think about.

I have two gaming wishes. First, that Microsoft would sell the Xbox/Microsoft gaming division and second, we start off a new era of Xbox with a new Xbox console that is a modern, slim version off the original.

@OGXboxLive I don't know about any of you, but Halos 1 & 2 along with Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 were on repeat on my Xbox in that era.

@MilansNMreport @FBGreatMoments Rick had a 33-16 record at Washington. 11-1 season in 2000 with a top 3 AP Poll finish. A couple of .500 seasons, I'll grant you that, but ended up on the winning side of those seasons. Also a fantastic recruiter. Not sure where the "bad coach" is coming from.

@FBGreatMoments Rick was a bad coach at Colorado, Washington and UCLA. The Bruins should have protested his hiring instead of a meaningless touchdown by SC.

So, games have to be designed in a way where people who don't have a group can log in and not be discouraged from playing. Discouragment comes in many forms.

Solo players are the lowest common denominator between both games in order for the game to have engagement. If you don't have content in your that people are willing to engage with as a solo player, you're cutting out potential engagement.

After watching Grenader Jake's video on Marathon, I'm reminded of a something that Bungie does acknowledge in Destiny 2 in a meaningful way. I hope that Bungie learns to make games in a way that are meaningful to solo players.
