The people that are 'pushing back' against this saying "now this is too much", "This movie is stuffed", and "I just wanted a solo Superman film". These people have been completely indoctrinated to the 'marvel formula' of only focusing on one primary character and have their side characters with them meanwhile, what James Gunn is doing is approaching this new DCU in a very similar way that the dc comics have for years of having a very focused solo hero be the center of a story but having side heroes along for the ride when the story deemed them appropriate to be in it to serve the larger narrative. That's what people need to start to understand

“Rushing to catch up”? They are doing films like Clayface, Teen Titans, and Swamp Thing. If they were really in a rush to catch up tomorrow, we’d have a Batman movie that exist in the universe, a new Wonder Woman movie already, a new Flash movie already, hell even a Green Lantern movie and not some show. But for some reason y’all have to complain about something new everytime Gunn’s name is just whispered.

Just curious, everyone that thinks Man of Tomorrow has too many characters… Do you know what a supporting cast is? When you go see a non-superhero film and there’s a thing called a “cast list” and there’s 40 to 50 people on it, do you think that movie is overstuffed?

@MikeKalinowski An overstuffed mess and it is absolutely rushing to catch up to where Marvel is at except it's coming off the "momentum" of 2 streaming series with low viewership, a Superman movie that underperformed and a Supergirl movie that is one of the worst flops.

@TruthisF And every character being introduced with the exception of Maxima has already been introduced in the DCU. Batman versus Superman wanted to introduce the entire Justice league which we had never even met before.
