The family of Tupac Shakur has filed a new wrongful death lawsuit against the man charged with the rap icon's murder. On Wednesday (April 29), the Los Angeles Times reported that 2Pac's stepbrother, Maurice "Mopreme" Shakur, has sued Duane "Keefe D" Davis and dozens of unidentified coconspirators in connection with Tupac's 1996 murder. "Many individuals who were involved have long since passed away, while others have been hard to identify," the complaint reads. "Yet, one thing is certain: there remain individuals who were involved in Tupac's murder who, for 30 years, have not been held accountable for their crimes." After being arrested in 2023, Davis, 62, is currently awaiting trial for the murder of Tupac, with authorities claiming he provided the gun that was used to kill the rapper. Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, filed a wrongful death lawsuit in 1997. However, it was later dismissed.
