The outage is silly. You can absolutely acknowledge that we have significant structural issues without ignoring the very real injury issues.
Ferran hadn’t started a game in three weeks. Lamine, Fermin and Balde have only just come back. On top of that, we’re not only missing key starters, but also key depth players.
Again, these are not excuses, they’re the facts. Madrid absolutely deserved to win, full credit to them, but I’m not going to be all hyperbolic about our season knowing full well we’re nowhere near our best.
