@Markosonke1 The parties need funds to run and sustain themselves. It shouldnt only be members that pay. After all does one join politics for money or ideology. Or both? Most political parties depends on the contributions of their office bearers over and above party funding.

According to reports, the party says the expulsion followed a year-long disciplinary process over alleged unpaid party levies amounting to around R180,000, along with allegations of insubordination and breaches of the party's code of conduct. The controversy centres on BOSA's requirement that elected representatives contribute 10% of their salary to the party. Ayanda Allie has publicly argued that she preferred to use her income to support her work with children through her Dobsonville NPO rather than hand over the levy. @MightiJamie This issue of Pres Ramaphosa, some people are so heavily invested in it emotionally. They loose their objectivity when it comes it. If south african laws allows remedies, its a sin if Ramaphosa exercise his right. They will dig all cases to justify,even if circumstances differ.

Interim interdicts are not usually set aside but on some occasions the courts have done that. In the case of National Treasury and Others v Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance and Others (CCT 38/12) [2012] ZACC 18; An interim interdict was set aside by the con court.

General Fannie Masemola was summoned by IDAC, arrested and charged with contravening the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). This raises an important question: does a PFMA matter fall within IDAC’s mandate, or was there another basis for its involvement? Was this simply a financial investigation, or was there a broader agenda? These are questions that deserve clear answers. Hopefully the Madlanga Commission or the IDAC oversight Judge will get to the bottom of it. @pule_jones
