Anyone can raise a CVE, so many do it without a valid reason other then trying to beef up their CV. This issue github.com/mvel/mvel/issu… and the corresponding CVE nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CV… are a clear example of this situation and at this point the whole process is becoming a joke.

@geoffdoesstuff Indeed. The challenge with these clients is that you spend a significant amount of time simply trying to get paid (emails, paperwork...), and they also pose a high risk.

How do you handle customers with long outstanding invoices (over a year) who return seeking additional services and also asking for discounts?

@lukaseder @canos you lost me at "compiler" in the PHP eco system, but in general PHP is growing in maturity but these growing pains come from being too flexible in the first place and that's a tough starting point.

@TubbyNL Today it started working again, charged to 100% now. Let’s see what happens in a week or two

Sony WH-1000XM4 wasn’t charging anymore: red light went out after a few seconds. Factory reset didn’t help, but fortunately disconnecting the battery did! Easy repair, esp. compared to the iPhones I usually fix.
