Time to do what I’m not supposed to do and guess on injuries, but I think it’s fairly good news he got on a flight without testing. I would think something very serious would be an MRI before the flight. I am not a doctor.

Craig Counsell on Seiya Suzuki: "We need to see him. He's on a flight back here, lands sometime later today-late this afternoon. I think it's going to take us through tomorrow probably to figure out, to get our hands on Seiya and see what's going on. I think it's just best we wait and see and let our doctors and trainers take a look at him and see what's going on." Seiya did not undergo any testing before leaving Miami.

PSA this was the position I slept in a few years ago where upon waking up and walking to the bathroom, I sat on the toilet then realized I couldn't stand at all. I couldnt put any pressure on my legs or walk without excruciating lower back pain and needed to go to the doctor for muscle relaxers. my back was incredibly stiff and painful for two weeks and tho it did eventually recover, but I never slept in this position again.
