His hostility and personal vendetta against Raila and by extension Luos was a product of the many years of ethnic radicalization including secret oathings in Ichaweri. It is therefore deeply hypocritical for Edwin Sifuna to now posture as the custodian of Baba’s political language and ideals while gravitating towards a man Raila himself openly rejected politically. You cannot claim to defend Raila’s legacy while simultaneously normalizing alliances with those who spent years vilifying him and undermining everything ODM stood for. Edwin Sifuna is a passing cloud.
