End the suspension of students & staff. Drop the charges. No militarization of campus.

These misrepresentations undermine trust in the university & cast doubt on its account of events, even if revised language is an improvement. Accurately representing & engaging w/the letter’s content is important in supporting dialogue, building respect, and moving forward. (4/4)

Faculty attempting to deliver the letter were initially met by police (who at first insisted Gibson Hall was closed). As documented in this video, a staff member emerged to receive the letter only after considerable negotiation. (3/4)
