What a way to end the weekend and club championship season! Gavin Lopez, with the OUTSIDE SMOKE in lane 7, drops a personal best time in the 1FLY with a staggering 59.26 - only 1.27 seconds away from a Futures cut! 59.26 was enough to be crowned as the South Texas Champion!

• South Texas Age Group Swimming Championship • Gavin Lopez goes 27.21 in the 50FR and will return tonight for A finals in the 1FLY with a preliminary time of 1:01.48.

Back in Austin,TX on this Saturday representing Gavin Lopez at the 2024 Speedo Sectional Long Course Championships. Excellent example and role model for not only @TulosoSD but the entire coastal bend swimming community. Competing against current NCAA athletes and NCAA hopefuls.

Gavin Lopez, junior, goes 59.37 100FR LCM at STAGS in San Antonio, TX. Gavin travels to the University of Texas on Saturday to compete in the 1FLY at the 2024 Speedo Southern Zone Long Course Sectional Championships.

• AAAA Northside Salute to the Troops • Gavin Lopez, third lane from the top, posted a time of 1:00.96 in the 100 Butterfly on Saturday in San Antonio. Gavin claimed 3rd overall, only being out touched for 1st by .49 and 2nd by .22. #BeAPro
