@XenoScarlet My guess would be that they just decided on a font that Nintendo already has the license to. May also be a Nintendo mandate, since it's in a lot of their games recently.

@TurboJehtt Btw I have to say I'm pretty fascinated about Western games that use Fontworks fonts like the Star Fox remake or Fatal Inertia (an obscure racing game made by Koei Canada)

Anyone got ID on the subtitle font? Thought it was Seurat but it's not quite a match.

Lots of stuff I like about this remake. The bosses are kind of a weak point imo. There’s a lot less visual clarity when you’re damaging the boss. The explosions don’t pack the same punch. And, this is just personal preference, I wish they’d ham up the voices a bit for them.

It's crazy how weak this feels compared to the original. Everything that made it so satisfying is gone.

@DragoonBtz There’s a lot to like about the remake. I just think this scene in particular is worse, mostly because the timing kills the tension. Idk why you’d assume I’m lying. What “clout” do I stand to gain? Whose favor do I earn by having thoughts about Star Fox?

"Old good, new bad" people have got to be some of the most performative lot on this site. Just lie through their teeth for easy clout.

For obvious reasons, I like that all the new dialog for Solar is the team making heat puns
