The evolution of an idea. Back in 2014 I had a local welder make me a pitching rubber and home plate template. The idea was to make plate and rubber swaps easier. 10 years later I thought maybe other people could benefit from the idea as well. Turfshed was born on that idea

I’m finishing up a nailboard this weekend for a long time friend in the business. I can’t thank each and everyone of you who have called on me to help you with your maintenance needs from mlb to parks and rec thank you from turf shed tools. What’s in your shed!!!!

I’ve said it over and over I wish everyone would put their own ideas into reality. I don’t invent any of these tools I simply used my platform to make quality tools that I use for anyone who wants to do the same. My Co workers have plenty of home made ideas we put into practice.

@MHSoilersbball The dimensions are on the sketch. I used similar designs from @Turfshed_tools nail boards. They use 3 rows of 20d 3 3/4” sinker nails/board; I only put two rows/board. I notch all the connections so it’s stable and not so thick. Put 1x4 on top so it can be used as a float drag.

Getting close to finishing up a new small nail drag. Our old one’s design did not allow it to be flipped over and used as a float drag. The new one just needs a handle and pull rope added and it’s ready to go.

Recently had a customer asked me if I could make him a base holder for a double first base I’m not real familiar with the concept. I’m not sure if there’s a need for these holders so this might be a one off or we might just keep a few on hand let me know . What’s in your shed!!
