@Ihunanya_chi I have a related question related to heaven and hell: why does God let us do the choosing of the one we want for eternity ?

As a Christian, how would you explain this: if God is love, why does He allow eternal punishment?

Why do HVAC companies charge a builder $5,500 to install one AC conditioner unit of 5 tons but when a home owner calls the same company to install the same AC unit the company charges $10,000 to the home owner?

THE CEMETERIES ARE WRONG. Go to any old cemetery. Not the modern ones with flat plaques in the grass. The OLD ones. The ones with massive stone monuments, iron fences, and elaborate mausoleums. Now look at the dates on the headstones. You’ll notice something that doesn’t make sense. In almost every old cemetery in America, there is a MASSIVE spike in deaths between 1858 and 1875. Entire families. Dozens of graves from the same year. Sometimes hundreds. All in small towns that supposedly had populations of only a few thousand. The official explanation? “Epidemics.” Cholera. Yellow fever. Typhoid. Diphtheria. But look closer. The headstones from this period are often the LARGEST and most ornate in the entire cemetery. Massive granite monuments. Intricate carvings. Expensive materials. For people who supposedly died of poverty-related diseases during an economic depression? Who pays for a 10-foot granite obelisk during a plague? Now look at the names. In many of these cemeteries, the names on the oldest, largest monuments don’t match the ethnic demographics of the town’s “official” founding population. Names that don’t fit the narrative of who supposedly settled there. And here’s the strangest part: in many old cemeteries, the OLDEST graves are the most elaborate. The craftsmanship DECREASES over time. The 1850s graves are masterpieces. The 1880s graves are simpler. The 1900s graves are plain. The 2000s graves are flat plaques. We’re told that civilization advances. That craftsmanship improves. That technology makes everything better. Then why do the graves get WORSE over time? Unless the oldest graves weren’t made by the same people who made the newer ones. Unless the elaborate monuments belong to the PREVIOUS civilization — the one that was here before the “settlers” arrived. The one that died in the reset. The mass deaths between 1858 and 1875 weren’t epidemics. They were the LAST GENERATION of the old civilization dying off. The survivors of whatever catastrophe destroyed their world, living out their final years in a world that no longer belonged to them. And the new population — the ones who “settled” these towns — buried their own dead with simpler stones. Because they didn’t have the technology or the skill to match what came before. The cemeteries are a timeline. And the timeline tells a story that contradicts everything you were taught. 📷 Visit your local old cemetery this weekend. Look at the dates. Look at the craftsmanship. Look at the names. The dead are telling you the truth. Forward this. @TartariaEmpire

Picking a commandment that we all agree applies even to Christians. Let’s say, “Do not steal". Describe for me the difference between how to keep this commandment from an old covenant perspective versus a new covenant perspective.

Night roadwork is a rental buffet. Light towers, message boards, generators. DOT jobs run tight schedules, so they rent instead of buying. The equipment is rugged, simple to service, and rents for weeks. Add remote monitoring and you cut theft and idle time!

@iamrjknight Abraham was justified by faith but let's not forget Abraham's faith resulted in a work of willingness to sacrifice his own son. He showed his faith with his work

Whether in the Old Testament or the New Testament, God has never saved sinners by works, rituals, or human effort. There has always been only one way of salvation: by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Abraham was justified by faith long before the law was given (Genesis 15:6; Romans 4:2–5). David spoke of the blessedness of the man whose sins are forgiven apart from works (Psalm 32:1–2; Romans 4:6–8). The sacrifices, priests, and ceremonies of Israel never saved anyone; they pointed forward to the One who would (Hebrews 10:1–4). In the fullness of time, Christ came as the fulfilment of every promise and shadow, accomplishing what the law could never do (Galatians 3:24; John 5:39). Salvation has always rested on God’s grace, received through faith, grounded entirely in the finished work of Jesus Christ, for “there is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12), and “by grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works” (Ephesians 2:8–9). Different covenants, different administrations, but one Saviour, one gospel, and one way of salvation from beginning to end.

Many people that malign me here on X derisively call me “Shlomo”. While that is meant as an ethnic slur, I actually find it hysterical. Admittedly, to the English mind, Shlomo is a funny sounding name. Shlomo. 😂😂😂 So, sure, keep calling me Shlomo. It makes me laugh. And, by the way, the word means, “His peace”. So thank you for the compliment. 🙃

@mhp_guy Shingles are not manufactured to old (better) standards. There's less asphalt in them compared to old style shingles and the weight of a bundle is way less than years ago. I agree, we need a new solution to roofing materials. Save the landfills.

I was quoted $40,000 to replace my roof. It was only nine years old. Like, how is that possible? How are we thousands of years into this whole shelter thing and we still don't have anything better than asphalt shingles that crumble the second they get hit with hail like here in Texas? And I'm not the only one thinking about this because every time there's a hailstorm, entire neighborhoods get re-roofed. Insurance companies pay out billions. Insurance costs are through the roof. Homeowners are dealing with the chaos. And then we just put the same stupid, fragile shingles back on and wait for it to happen all over again. There has to be a better way. How do we have phones that can survive being dropped from buildings and cars that take impacts at high speed? We've got freaking rocket boosters landing themselves in the middle of the ocean But we can't make a roof that handles a little ice for falling from the sky. It just doesn't make sense. And when you see something like this, something that's clearly more durable, more advanced, something that actually solves the problem, you realize we've just been accepting mediocrity for way too long. It's not asphalt. It's engineered to last for decades. It's designed to take in impact. It looks better. It performs better. And it should have been the standard years ago. What frustrates me is that innovation in roofing has been so slow because nobody wants to be the first to try something new. Contractors just stick with what they know. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Homeowners go with what's cheap upfront, even if it costs more long term. And meanwhile, we're all just replacing roofs every decade like it's normal. It's not normal. It's a waste of money and resources. Someone finally said enough and built something that actually works. So here's an open call to all the innovators out there. We need more solutions like this. We need better materials, smarter designs, roofs that last 50 years instead of 10 because the market is massive and people are ready for something better. Curious on what @sodacitysimpson might say on this.

After 10 years testing every indicator,   I only use TWO: 1. EMA Clouds (trend validation)   2. RSI (risk assessment) Here’s how they work together: Step 1: Check EMA Clouds—2 stacked green = bull trend, 2 red = bear trend.   Step 2: Check RSI—only if clouds are green.   RSI 70 = too hot, wait.   RSI 50–60 = small position.   RSI 40–50 = normal.   RSI under 30 = aggressive. Two indicators.   Full system.   Trend + Risk = Everything you need.

@darwintojesus Considering that atheism and belief in evolution typically go together, isn't it hypocritical to think randomness produces higher intelligence in one more than another? Isn't that highly unlikely?

I remember being this way when I was an atheist. I genuinely believed religious people were stupid, that atheists were some kind of enlightened beings who had seen past the illusion. All those poor religitards without a clue… it’s embarrassing. What’s really ironic is that atheists spend so much time patting themselves on the back about how smart they are, they forget how to argue. It’s a lot like the tortoise and the hare, the hare loses because it’s overconfident. The only real difference between atheists today and that rabbit: The rabbit realized it had lost.

Studies show atheists have higher IQs than most religious people.

Sometimes the cashflow of a rental property, say a fourplex, is the best you’re going to get out of any investment out of all the options that you have including investing in the SP500 index or selling the fourplex to buy a more expensive rental property 5+ units and maybe you get less cashflow but maybe get more in the appreciation after you increase rents and fix the units but that requires more investment from your part to take care of the Capex… Let’s say that you care more about cashflow than appreciation because you’re not planning on selling anytime soon… So it begs the question why would an owner sell the cash cow fourplex to trade it for another investment that produces less cashflow with hopes of better appreciation. The cashflow can be used to buy more and more properties assuming the cash cow that you receive is substantial

Carrying cash makes no sense. People that always have cash on them are doing it out of habit or nostalgia. There’s no actual purpose (unless you are gambling). Carrying cash is like printing, signing, and scanning a contract. I know the 90s were fun, but it’s 2026.
