@YankeeGunner And I’m not buying that own goals are a fluke. Penalties, own goals and set piece goals are a result of sustained pressure. The more touches and passes in an opponents box means a higher likelihood of opponent error.

@YankeeGunner Totally agree. I’m no overly worried, historically this team has over performed xg, so I think it will revert. I’m just glad to see the data and fluidity back, finishing will follow. I’d be more worried as a Man city or Villa fan because they are over performing against the data.

Today we had 2.8 xG on 24 shots & managed just the 2 goals.
I get the frustration, but the finishing is very likely to come around. I’d much rather be playing well & finishing poorly than playing like shit & getting away with it
