Two weeks later, the kasmiths forum is up and running, and there is now a dedicated repo for the standards effort as well: Kaspa Calls for Conventions (KCCs), a new kaspanet repo for converging on actual, formally defined specs and conventions. Each KCC is a Kaspa Call for a Convention: a document specifying a convention around which independent ecosystem participants and implementations may converge. Topics may include covenant conventions, script-level ABIs, asset standards, wallet and indexer interoperability, based applications, and more. The first KCCs are already taking shape. @manyfest_ just PRed KCC20, a fungible token covenant specification: github.com/kaspanet/kccs/… and afaik @iziodev is working on KCC1, a script-bytecode ABI for stateful covenants. This should extract and lift the pure definitions currently living at compiler level (ie silverscript), into a shared reusable convention. and yes, i would say that @elonmusk mission with @SpaceXAI is going well. the results definitively shows how Grok 4.5 training pushed even further to become as neutral as possible and it does feel good to know there is at least 1 model out there that is within that neutral zone.

Have to admit I've been busy recently and not paid attention to all the incredible KASPA DAG technical advances driving it a form that should make it even more attractive from a commercial adoption perspective When I first started getting involve in crypto the first thing I personally experienced was the panic about using a strange new technology- a digital wallet- that made it possible to send and LOSE big sums of money very quickly so IMO one of the biggest barriers to crypto adoption has never been speed—it's consumer protection.... with BTC, an accidental payment or a dishonest seller can leave you with no practical recourse once funds are sent, and I've seen that happen with more than one colleague Kaspa's new Toccata upgrade introduces native L1 covenant programming, enabling "peer-to-peer oriented applications" and "complex stateful multi-contract flows" directly on Layer 1. More critically, it also lays the foundation for smart wallets, escrow, and programmable payment conditions. IMO the crypto opportunity is huge for consumer-safe cash and reversible commerce, topics and concepts that BTC maxxis pooh-pooh at even as they are the most important aspects of mass adoption. Some easy examples: you buy something on eBay; Your $KAS payment is locked in a covenant. The seller gets paid after delivery is confirmed, or the funds automatically return to the buyer if the transaction times out Wallet protection: Large balances are protected by spending rules (time delays, recovery paths, or multi-party approval), reducing the damage from a stolen private key or worse, a wrench attack. This preserves self-custody while adding protections consumers have come to expect from traditional payment systems—without relying on a bank. Covenant vaults mission report. We've been busy exploring the new era of possibilities on Kaspa and built our first private vault suite. Creation, locking of Kaspa, and deterministic unlock via signed covenant conditions. Success. But we wouldn't be $KASBTC if it just stops there... Next mission: vault logic extension. NFT integration inside covenant-controlled vaults for real L1 staking conditions and more. This introduces an important architectural tension: KRC721 assets are not UTXO-native. They behave more like state-tracked L2 assets. Covenant logic however operates natively at the UTXO layer. Our next exploration phase therefore focuses on "bridging" NFT state proofs into covenant conditions and designing vaults that can reference indexed NFT state and unlock these assets. Preparing for more Kaspa NFT utility along the way.

Define “kaspa”. Don’t assume authority, there’s a limit to what ppl doing core work can handle. To this specific question, there was definitely thought on the subject, eg support for op_check_sig_from_stack was introduced amongst other reasons bcs it’s required for agents making out of order payments (or more broadly for usage patterns decoupling signing from low level tx mechanics and utxos). Additionally, a native asset std is probably a prerequisite for a good agent protocol
