The takeaway isn’t “a 19 year old did something crazy.”
It’s that her version of “normal” is different.
If you grow up around people who are constantly building and shipping, you don’t see production systems as intimidating. You see them as inevitable.
Environment sets the ceiling more than talent does.

Gen Z, Gen Alpha, now Gen AI... One of our AI Innovation leaders messaged me from New Delhi this weekend. His 19-year-old daughter was signing with the Airports Authority of India. Her AI feedback platform is deploying across 100+ airports. She built it in weeks. We didn't turn her dad into an AI guy. He already was one. That's who we recruit. What we do is drop world-class talent into a culture that refuses to sit still. Weekly shipping. Demos instead of KPI reviews. A constant sense of urgency that we aren't ahead, we're just not getting run over from behind yet. That AI DNA goes home with our people. Shows up at the dinner table. Shapes how their kids think about what's buildable. A 19-year-old shipping production systems at enterprise scale doesn't come out of nowhere. She came from the water this family swims in. Cool things are truly happening here.

Circling back to this, today’s All Hands Meeting really emphasized Perplexity Computer.
It honestly feels like another “this changes everything” moment.
What’s changing isn’t just how we work, it’s what “work” even means.
Less execution.
More instruction.
More iteration.
The bottleneck is no longer effort, it’s clarity.

With tools like Perplexity Computer and Claude CoWork, I now spend more than 50% of my time giving instructions instead of executing tasks. Repetitive work is delegated, and the real focus has moved to thinking, decision-making, and problem framing. Feels less like doing work, more like directing it. @IgniteTech

Sharing something that has genuinely improved my day to day workflow, I have been using Claude CoWork.
The setup is basically a combination of a skill and a scheduled task. Throughout the day, every hour on the half hour mark while I am online, it goes through my emails and sorts them into a specific format for me.
It sounds simple, but the impact has been huge. It has made email much easier to stay on top of, and honestly it has been a bit life changing.

Agreed, I don't know much about code, but in the past few months I have built Apps, Dashboards using Firebase, Python, Javascript. Now I know about 508 compliance and safe code but still do not understand the lines of code. The app works fantastic, the dashboard provides great insights. I maintain it for 30 minutes each day. What a Superpower.

Eric Schmidt says the 10x advantage is no longer execution. It is defining what counts as success. A programmer writes a spec and an evaluation function, runs it at 7pm, and wakes up to what was invented overnight. The advantage now belongs to whoever can specify the problem precisely. The rest will be automated.

I’ve spent 3 years now (including during my keynote this week at @GenAIExpo) exalting, proselytizing, warning and pleading with everyone in my life to not ignore what’s happening, projecting that AI is the biggest opportunity we’ve all been handed and to bury your head in the sand is certain doom.
I sound like an alarmist to some, but I believe it’s my obligation because I see it clearly and believe it to my core.
This post expresses it beautifully. One hour per day, to change your life and countless others? The “bar is on the floor” indeed. But only if you jump in now.
You owe it to yourself and everyone else to consider the points here. Time is not on your side
