Until Trump, no president in US history: -Tried to unilaterally rewrite federal election rules -Tried use the USPS to limit who gets to vote -Spread false claims that elections are rigged -Replaced officials who didn't back their conspiracy theories This is a systematic effort.

Just a week after Lorenzo Araujo’s death, ICE agents have taken another life, this time in Maine. I’m praying for the victim’s loved ones while they mourn this loss. Trump’s fascist agents can’t continue to be allowed to terrorize our neighborhoods. ICE must be abolished to protect our communities.

40+ civil rights organizations just came out against Todd Blanche. Todd Blanche is indicting civil rights champions, protecting insurrectionists, and firing prosecutors. All to protect Donald Trump—not YOU.

It seems, from all reporting, that ICE today - shot someone who was not attempting to run them over but, rather, "flee the scene" - was not the person they were looking for - who had a 3yr old in the car - who they dragged out into the street - all while not wearing body cams

trump convince MAGA that Democrats were rigging elections then turn around and tell them that the 2016 and 2024 elections were fair when Democrats were in charge but the 2020 election was rigged when he was in charge.

@RepJackKimble Governmemt positions are way too important to let random people choose who gets them We need to pass these positions down to the nearest relative of the office holder Nothing says America better than a system of nobility and monarchy

@DentonHewitt @RepJackKimble There have been spouses who assumed a dead electeds position before. Graham’s sister is also his legally adopted child. How about looking up a few spouses before being so judgmental?

This is 26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero and his 3-year-old daughter who watched him get killed by ICE in cold-blood. He was a hardworking Colombian man who was in the U.S. legally to work in order to feed his precious daughter. She won’t ever see her dad again because of Trump’s ICE.

We don’t have a functioning media and press, we have a bunch of bitch ass cowards like @jaketapper who follow orders. Trump sent federal agents after their fellow journalists like two days ago and he couldn’t bring that up?? Just scrap the entire industry and let’s start over.

"Ukraine is Winning?" Russian artillery literally buries Ukrainian troops ahead of another Russian assault. The horrors of war, the reality of facing massive, unstoppable Russian glide bombs which can vaporise entire units with no warning. This man was lucky to survive.

Sen. Mitch McConnell is breaking his silence on the health scare that's kept him off the Senate floor for weeks. He revealed he fell last month, was briefly unconscious, and was hospitalized. Doctors confirmed no broken bones, no stroke, no heart attack, and no tumors — but he did develop pneumonia. McConnell says the fall is tied to complications from childhood polio. He's since moved to a rehab facility and plans to return to the floor once cleared. MORE: newsnationnow.com/politics/mccon…

So apparently Kash Patel was about to get on the FBI’s private jet to fly to the Windy City Smokeout this weekend here in Chicago when Trump called him back to the White House. It certainly sounds to me like he’s about to get his ass fired, finally. The guy’s an incompetent, corrupt boob.

#BREAKING: Psaki: “…Kash Patel isn’t the only Trump official who is living the high life, certainly not. I mean, listen to what @JDVance had to say on a podcast recently about how his life has drastically changed since becoming vice president: [JD Vance: ‘Like my life is, dude, totally transformed. I don’t go to the grocery store anymore. People go to the grocery store for me. Most of my meals, like when I cook a meal, it’s like I love to cook actually, big baker. I like to cook for my kids as a special occasion, but I don’t have to cook anymore because I’ve got an army of people who are willing to like cook me my food. My life is so weird. I fly around on a 757. No more TSA lines for me and the kids. It’s so weird, but it can become the sort of thing that if you internalize it, you start to be an entitled asshole.’] You don’t say…the irony here is that the point Vance was attempting in that clip was that he is actively trying to avoid becoming an entitled—you know what. However, projecting a pious attempt at humility is hard, especially when sources tell Axios that Vance is simultaneously eyeing a house to lease on a grand 500-acre farm in Middleburg, Virginia, a property that last sold for $8.5 million. Here’s how Axios puts it: ‘Between vineyards and equestrian estates, it’s a slice of countryside far removed from the hardscrabble upbringing Vance described in his book, Hillbilly Elegy.’” 😳

Add it to the list. Partying in the Olympic hockey locker room, personalized whiskey bottles, a VIP snorkeling trip, and now a secret six-figure crypto bet that Kash Patel hid from the public for six months.    Kash Patel runs the FBI, the agency that investigates crypto fraud. In November, he bought up to $250,000 in stock in MicroStrategy, a company built on accumulating bitcoin that has done millions of dollars in business with the Justice Department he answers to.     Yes, the man who decides which crypto cases get pursued bet six figures of his own money on crypto.    Federal law gave him 45 days to disclose that trade. He took six months, then called it an “inadvertent” omission. A nonpartisan government watchdog put it plainly: he violated the law.    So what happens to the nation’s top cop when he breaks the law? The penalty is a $200 fine. That’s a parking ticket, and the people responsible for issuing it are his own colleagues at the Justice Department, and they haven’t even done that.    And this isn’t the first time that Patel’s stock trades have raised eyebrows. Last year, Patel bought Krispy Kreme stock while the company was drowning in lawsuits over a massive data breach. Weeks later, his own FBI announced it was investigating the ransomware group behind that breach.     Patel signed an ethics agreement promising to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest. This whole thing stinks of exactly that.    I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Kash Patel must resign or be fired. And no one at the FBI, in the Cabinet, in Congress, or in the White House should be trading individual stocks. Period.
Dave Levinthal@davelevinthal

SCOOP: Kash Patel failed to properly disclose a six-figure purchase of stock in a Bitcoin-fueled company that's done business with the Department of Justice. In @NOTUSreports: notus.org/money/kash-pat…
