A fifteenth resident doctor strike in England.
Not a single day lost to industrial action in Scotland’s NHS.
Doing the hard work of negotiating & delivering for our staff and patients.
@theSNP leadership delivers for our NHS.
The BMA@TheBMA
Resident doctors have been left with no choice but to strike. Weeks of negotiations with the Government have failed to deliver enough progress on pay, with the goalposts being moved at the last minute. We have called six days of industrial action to make the Government listen, stop the game playing, and come back with an offer that delivers fairly on both jobs and pay.

Breaking | Hamas Appeal Against UK Ban Reaches Court After Months of Delay - MEM
After more than seven months of delay, Hamas’ legal appeal against the British government’s decision to maintain its proscription will be heard on 26 March 2026 before the Proscribed Organizations Appeal Commission (POAC), with Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk expected to appear via video link.
The appeal challenges the legality of the designation, arguing it is politically driven and legally flawed. UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has attempted to strike out the case entirely without presenting substantive justification, while the court is expected to examine both the unexplained delay and efforts to avoid judicial scrutiny.
Britain’s ban was expanded in 2021 by then-Home Secretary Priti Patel to include Hamas’ political wing, despite the military wing already being proscribed since 2001.
In April 2025, Hamas applied for full deproscription, supported by testimony from 20 experts, including historian Avi Shlaim and former ICJ judge Professor John Dugard.
The appeal argues Hamas poses no threat to British national security and has never conducted operations outside Palestine.

Labour have been smearing the Greens on our evidenced-based approach to drugs. If the PM won’t listen to us, and he won’t listen to the experts, will he listen to the families at @anyoneschild, who have lost loved ones under the UK’s current negligent drug policies?

@HenMazzig I’m just wondering what you were saying when Israel was bombing hospitals and targeting first aid workers in Gaza? Now you are outraged? Not me. You have no sympathy from the world.
