"It was Israel." "It was the Jews." Nah, the biggest reason is Trump. Rural Kentucky is MAGA land. These people, like it or not, voted for the MAGA agenda. Trump told them that Massie is an obstacle to implementing the MAGA agenda, which is kinda true especially recently, so they voted against him. Yes, Jewish people donated to the race. Apparently, Massie's largest donor (?) is Jewish. But the millions of dollars spent on the race wasn't even necessary. The people heard Trump say vote out Massie, so they listened. They listened to Trump all over the country. All of his endorsed candidates won. It's very hard for a Republican to win if Trump doesn't like them. Especially harder if the candidate is outspoken against Trump. I don't like it, but it's the truth.

@JulieBorowski Jeff Yass donated to support Massie mostly because he agrees on domestic libertarian priorities like fiscal conservatism, limited government, school choice, and opposition to certain foreign entanglements, not full agreement on Israel. You don’t control who your donors are.

Why didn’t you say the same thing about your late husband’s favorite congressman? I’m starting to see now why they took Charlie out. They wanted to take out his voice and his influence. Charlie would have undoubtedly campaigned alongside Thomas Massie publicly and unapologetically. Your silence speaks volumes Erika. The more people watch this, the more obvious it becomes why Charlie had to be removed from the equation. Regardless of the outcome of Spencer Pratt’s race, what he’s doing is authentically American. See a problem, become a part of the solution. His campaign ads are unconventional, but that’s the point; it’s refreshing. Instead of speaking like a career politician, he’s speaking as an American who sees and deeply understands how fragile the simple things in life are when leadership fails. This is what this country is all about. Citizens willing to step into the political arena, unafraid, and challenge a failing system, much like the one that has destroyed Los Angeles. I hope moments like this inspire more Americans to throw their names into the mix, run for office, get involved and stand up for what makes this country exceptional.

Massie's biggest donor was Jeff Yass. Yass is a Zionist Jewish billionaire who also gives a lot of money to pro-Israel causes. One notable place that he has helped fund is the Kohelet Policy Forum, a Right wing Israeli think tank. He has also given money to: - Birthright Israel - American Friends of Hebrew University - Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organization of America - Shalom Hartman Institute - Jerusalem Online University and numerous other places. The "Israel lobby took out Thomas Massie" is extremely dumb. Massie has been in office for years despite consistently being against foreign aid. There are many other politicians who have also been in office for years who are very anti-Israel, yet they're still in office. The reason that Massie lost is because instead of just marking himself as "present," he sided with the Left on certain votes, and also suddenly making as if he cared about the Epstein files despite being mostly silent about them when Biden was in office, and joining the Left in attacking Trump and others over it. Trump is our current party leader, and part of his job is to keep the party in check. If you attack the leader and go against the party, you will get primaried, and - as we saw happen with Massie - you will lose.

You raise some interesting points. Charlie was very outspoken in his opinion on the Red Green alliance forming between marxists & radical Islamics & how together they were not simply incompatible with Western Civilization- but an outright threat to its existence No such threat exists with Israel- in fact once we began our military operations in Iran- they were our strongest ally- the whole of the EU who were in considerably more imminent danger from the Iranian regime- DID NOTHING The EU showed it's true face & it's cowardice as it succumbs to the caliphate spreading like wildfire throughout Europe- our "closest allies" chose a side- and it WASN'T OURS As far as Massie?
