Haven't played magic in like a month. Tried to play a game tonight. I'm in 4th seat, guy in first seat plays turn 1 Rhystic, then Steal Enchantment my turn 2 Rhystic. I'm not sure I want to play cEDH anymore guys.

@Scoop_Phase @_Memo_4302 1-4 is the same as 0-0-5 in points. A lot of people do not understand this.

I think one of the biggest disservice to the format, especially to new players, is the demonstration from more prominents to "play for a draw" as a valid way to get 1 point Sure, but its not an effective way to make cut over the long run, and is bad practice tbh. Win your games

One thing you learn is that you'd do better to place in the 1-1-0 bracket than the 1-0-1 bracket. Loser bracket; people are actually ok to lose a game. The risk of running into 3 more "gotta draw" players and get 3 points or 3 more rounds to actually get 5/10 points. 🧵

@BlitznBones @Twodioz The real question is where the most of that draw % came from. Seat 2 going for it getting stopped and then drawing. Or did it come from s4 being in the worst spot playing for a draw...
