Robert Downey Jr arrogantly stating that the "stars of the future are going to be influencers" is "absolute horseshit" is crazy- considering most of the popular 'influencers' nowadays are more popular than actors. That future is already here. Actors have become so out of touch they don't realize- no one cares anymore. While influencers aren't trained actors, it's still a form of entertainment that people gravitate towards, and that Hollywood is threatened by- which is why the only 'influencers' he likes are the ones that interview him😂Also, labeling influencers as "hucksters" is rich coming from someone who gets paid millions to pretend for a living. You can't even be authentic without being directed lol

@mynerdyhome In the past the everyday man thought acting is not a real but overpaid and overhyped job. Now actors possibly feel the same about influencers too.

@Eduardopto @nonregemesse The latest trailer is horrible, doesnt present a great adventure and the stakes very well. Also the dialogue is very poor so far what was shown, like who said "dad" in that time? Hopefully they did not pick the best bits for the trailer but so far the 90s tv movie seem superiror.

Ink Ribbons are fundamental to the experience. Choose when you save. Death has a consequence so it changes your decisions. It encourages exploration for more ink ribbons and other resources. It makes you plan your routes. It's not for everyone, and that's fine.

Ok, well I will start working on a demo. The idea is to take inspiration from classic demos, like the 1997 preview demo of Resident Evil 2. A demo that let players experience the beginning of the game by plunging them right into the gameplay even though some details can change.

@OlTexa I understand where you are coming from and why you are hesitant about it. For me its fine just to feel the gameplay loop, but with so many vintage classic survivor horror games are coming out I have zero clue whats the best from business and sales perspective to stand out.

I have enough content to make a short Faithless Water demo but I'm still hesitating because there's no voice acting yet and the storytelling isn't quite ready Tell me, would you be interested in a gameplay stuff focus demo, even if it means leaving out a bit the narrative part ?

@BlackMajikMan90 This movie is on the level of AVP: Requiem, bunch of fans who have no idea how to make a movie. You can not be mad about a high budget fan movies really.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City failed for two reasons and two reasons only: 1. The Script 2. The Budget That’s it. Johannes Roberts’ heart was in the right place but he was given absolutely nothing to work with. A script that combined Resident Evil 1 and 2 was never, EVER going to work as there was simply too much ground to cover in just two hours. That script should have never been approved and the blame lies solely on Screen Gems and Constantin Film. Then there’s the budget. 25 million may seem like a lot, but that simply isn’t enough to cover a film of this scale. Sony got cheap and that cheapness affected castings, CGI, scale, production, literally everything. WTRC was hampered right out of the gate and was never going to succeed under these conditions. Making a faithful Resident Evil film shouldn’t be this hard. Give the film a 50 million dollar budget, hire an up and coming horror director who loves the games and give him or her a great script that focuses on Resident Evil 1 and ONLY Resident Evil 1. This isn’t rocket science Hollywood, so stop acting like it is.

Meanwhile, one YouTuber played an indie game, made a film adaptation along side with the game's creator. Expanded/fleshed out the game's lore in the film rather than making a "reinterpretation" or "put their own spin on it" or "rewrite it to attract non-gamers".
