@Riggstalks For domains that enact weaker effects, such as Higuruma's Deadly Sentencing, no such burnout exists, since the "No Violence" rule applied to both the attacker and user is innately much, much weaker than a sure hit effect. Very little CE is used for the domain itself.

@Riggstalks which allows for nuance, or exceptions for this rule. The reason it uses up a ton of cursed energy is because most domains are created with a "Sure-hit" effect, which requires a lot of CE to be expended.

That’s why Yuta is in shock when Gojo shoots Sukuna with red right after his domain collapsed. It shouldn’t be possible. Gojo’s CE is not exhausted

I don't think we'll have a battle in the LW. We don't have healing items in the LW, and to get them we'd need monster food, which doesn't seem to exist in DR We could make Kris heal with magic, but Kris can't use magic, and it's implied that they're incapable of doing so
