Mayes Middleton is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and has been licensed to practice law in the state of Texas since 2008. Mayes Middleton currently serves as State Senator for District 11 representing parts of Brazoria County, Galveston and Harris County. Prior to becoming a State Senator, Mayes served as State Representative for House District 23. As a husband and father of four children, Mayes Middleton is a staunch supporter of faith, family and freedom. In the past four years, Mayes authored two pivotal pieces of legislation for Texas: The Save Women’s Sports Law in 2023 and the Texas Women’s Privacy Act in 2025!
