I am annoyed because honestly, something like @sleepagotchi can work. I have an oura ring and I'm checking my sleep stats every morning and trying to improve. They are gamifying sleep which made oura ring a massive startup...i'm annoyed because its so simple yet smart!

@jonahblake @OthersideMeta I wonder how profitable running a tech stack like Improbable is. Considering Stadia just recently joined Google's graveyard, scalability sounds like it might be an issue.

Fun fact, the tech team behind @OthersideMeta didn’t just have 1 game that shut down, but 3. A little unknown game to web3 called scavengers was one of the larger losses. Not to say otherside is bad. I’m not saying that. I just like to research history.

I’m very committed to web3 gaming, but we should all consider the possibility of crypto going dark for a little bit. The only thing you should do in a bear is survive.

As a media company, I’m fully prepared for the possibility that crypto goes dark for a little bit. While I think NFTs are the end result and what should be used, we still have 10 plus MMOs and 300 games a year to cover. Most MMOs and new games arising have game asset trading.

@jonahblake I think this next generation will be the biggest. Kids that grew up watching Twitch becoming adults and still following the competitive gaming scene. Super interesting time for esports.

@DInddle @0xBender I think it was also the careful rollout by Reddit. They had been introducing avatars for the past few years prior to adding NFTs. Their userbase will spend $20 to give posts fake awards. A 'digital collectible' given out for free, mixed with the timing worked well for them.

@0xBender A ton of web2 companies had tried to push NFTs during the bull run before but reddit so far has been the only one to take a meaningful hold. I wonder if its because of social media and how much of an overlap the userbases have?

The cool thing is: based on the community and the project, we can always change licensing in the future. It's easier to give out rights than it is to take away. Cheers!
