@piyush_soni @Tara_Deshpande You care or you are acting ignorant? Abc was not implemented, it didn’t fail. It would have failed if despite implemented to a good extent, the issue would still happen. And you obviously know nothing about the order and law as evident. You blindly followed some media pages.

Why should community animal advocates be responsible for adopting community dogs? They are not responsible for the failure of local authorities to implement sterilisation programs that have been funded by taxpayers money. Where is all that money? Street animals migrate from rural to urban areas because there are no sterilisation programs in rural areas. If vaccines are in short supply, if there are no shelters find those who did not do their jobs and make them adopt the animals instead of blaming those who spent their own funds sterilising and vaccinating animals to protect the public.

@RajatSharmaLive @pricatttt There are other problems causing deaths far more than dogs but if we really are concerned and want to prioritise this, then just sterilise the dogs. Dogs can’t be the victim of govt failure. They are the soft targets, so everyone wants to blindly remove them.

Normally, I do not comment on Supreme Court judgements and only those who have a case can speak. But if a judgement is given against voiceless animals, then one has to raise their voice. The court order is not practical, it is inhuman. Who will decide whether a stray dog is dangerous and it should be administered the death injection? I feel, the court order will open up the gates of atrocities on voiceless stray dogs. Animal activist Menaka Gandhi's suggestion is right. If the State wants to lower the number of stray dogs, there should be a massive sterilization and vaccination drive for such homeless animals. @Dil063 @RenukaCCongress That’s incorrect. Order said euthanisation must happen as per ABC and PCA. Now this is what ABC says. Residents false complaints won’t work. Someone has to get bitten and show proof, then identify which dog did it. Then two members observe the dog for 10 days, it’s not so easy.

With due respect, the Honourable Supreme Court orders are mischievous! We the cockroaches of India, demand justice for our dogs. And the Mylords should stop this game of inhumanity. May i remind the Mylords judging, us, cockroaches that — Animals also have RIGHT TO LIVE under our Constitution and you cannot leave them to be culled or keep them in uncared Centres! No new ABC centres, no shelters, no hospitals, no enforcement. The entire idea about these ABC CENTRE was IMPRACTICAL & NOT-FEASIBLE! Now even monkeys are coming down from trees and biting people. That also in Lutyens Delhi. What next? Will they cage the monkeys too? We thought that the Supreme Court would be compassionate, but it has turned out to be the very opposite!

@kartik_chau @Tara_Deshpande Obviously ur past comments portray that you know nothing. A dog which has bitten(demonstrated aggressive behaviour) is dangerous and is removed. Not before that, just like humans. And strictly under supervision of vets who will monitor the dog’s activity. Not some random ass guy.

Another stat. 3cr WB women are getting 3k per month as freebies. So it takes 3 months worth of freebies given to women of just one state to sterilise dogs across India.

We are not responsible for the well-being of lonely unemployed or unmarried or childless women who sought the company of stray rabid dogs and hate human kids. You need to find some better activity to pass time henceforth. Kids safety is paramount and no stray animal life is more valuable than a human. Period.

@RajatSharmaLive So true. SC simply got confused and rested the matter on the HCs. They initially took suo moto but didn’t expect so many people to talk about dogs and just tried to rule a confusing verdict. We need your news channels to report so many positives in the judgement.

मैं आम तौर पर Supreme Court के judgement पर comment नहीं करता. जिसका case है वो बोलता है. पर अगर फैसला बेज़ुबान के खिलाफ हो तो उनकी आवाज़ तो उठानी पड़ेगी. Court का आज का order, practical नहीं है, inhuman है. कल रात जब मैं हैदराबाद से लौटा तो Delhi Airport के terminal पर तीन डॉगी को देखा. गर्मी थी. जब airport का exit gate खुलता था तो वहां से ठंडी हवा आती थी. वहां वो तीनों बड़े आराम से लेटे थे. सैकड़ों लोग वहां से आ जा रहे थे, लेकिन उन्हें कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ा. अब ऐसे dogs को public places से हटाने का क्या मतलब है? कोई उन्हें कल aggressive कहकर मार डालेगा तो इसकी ज़िम्मेदारी कौन लेगा? कौन सा dog aggressive है इसका फैसला कौन करेगा? इसलिए मुझे लगता है कि court का आज का order बेज़ुबान जानवरों पर ज़ुल्म का रास्ता खोलेगा. Maneka Gandhi का idea ठीक है. अगर dogs की आबादी को कम करना है तो रास्ता एक ही है- बड़े पैमाने पर नसबंदी की जानी चाहिए. अच्छा तो होगा कि court इस बारे में सरकारों को युद्धस्तर पर काम करने का आदेश दे. #StrayDogs #SupremeCourt
