@etstang @Twins @StPaulSaints Listening to Tom say the Twins will be competitive, makes me dislike and not trust him. Saying and doing things are very different. Spend a little bit of money, fix the bullpen and call up some kids who deserve it. The lineup today was AAA worthy at best.

I will defend Tom here since his baby brother screwed the pooch & he's in clean-up mode.
If I were the Twins owners under the current broken MLB economics, I would do the same thing in 2026 that they are doing; despite how they goofed their family's wealth in bad biz decisions since Carl was leading them.
MLB is likely to go on strike next year & could care less if the entire league is shut down until the balance the economics of the league.
