@LizzieMarbach @needGod_net Cooperation and faithfulness is not the same as faith alone nor is it works based. We are saved by Grace through faith, working out itself through love. Faith is not intellectual ascent. If I do not serve my wife & care for her, I do not love her. How do I love the Lord?

@needGod_net It’s all smooth word games where they use euphemisms to cover up what they really mean.

I constantly see Catholics and orthodox get angry when you accuse them of adding works to the gospel, while simultaneously vehemently rejecting that we’re justified by faith alone. This makes absolutely no sense. If you reject sola fide, then that necessarily means you believe works are necessary for justification. You can’t escape that.

I have to go with the Protestant on this - if the command was Thou shalt not Kill, God would be contradicting Himself, He commanded the Israelites to kill and executed people (the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, Ananias and Sapphira), God does not contradict Himself and the correct rendition of the the Commandment, even in Catholic Bibles is “Thou shalt not murder”

If you were politically active in the early 2000s, you remember when Ron Paul was the only Republican to consistently oppose the Bush agenda. He was blasted by almost everyone on the right as a traitor to the GOP who was "helping the Democrats." We now acknowledge that Dr. Paul was right. But if more of us had stood with him back then, he might have won out, and we wouldn't have all the war deaths, losses of freedom and privacy, and tens of trillions of dollars in debt he was trying to prevent. Hindsight's 20/20, right? Well, here's your chance to learn from that. Stand with @RepThomasMassie now, when it actually matters. Demand that the rest of the GOP, including Trump, actually follow through on their promise to cut the size, scope, power and cost of government. Don't join the dogpile again, only to admit that he was right years later when it's too late.
