Purple beat Gold 27-10 in UW's Dawgs After Dark spring game. Key highlights: Gold scored first on a Mason James muffed punt (Dylan/Donovan Robinson recovery TD). Demond Williams Jr. started shaky (early INT) but hit Rashid Williams for a 43-yard TD to tie it. Kini McMillan showed good legs/scrambling. Julian McMahan punched in a 1-yard TD run. Donovan Robinson sealed it with a 56-yard pick-six. Fun extras: Soccer coaches as honorary coaches with red-card gimmicks, Nicole Van Dyke kicked a PAT, halftime corgi races. Plenty of freshmen flashed on both sides.
