Congratulations to Cade Weiss on defending his @tamurwfm Master’s project! Cade developed a practical, landowner-focused extension article for estimating white-tailed deer populations on private lands, advancing Texas A&M’s land-grant mission through actionable Extension work.

Two river otters this morning. Our team safely immobilized both, collected morphometrics, and fitted GPS backpacks to study movement, home range, and habitat selection. Grad students do the hard work — I jump in for the fun part. Handled safely, under approved protocols.
