In english, there's a segue with "Alas, men don't interest me" 'Men' in this context is meant as the plural of 'man' as in 'mankind' or... humans, mortals... OFC it would've been more proper if he called them Mongrels.

It's a normal conversation as is in Japanese, but in English this just feels like he jumped from one topic to the next without a clear context why he suddenly addresses Saber like that.

@Luneyth @dokibird Personally i also think the referees this tournament weren't really good. I didn't watch many games but the ones i've seen there was blatant shoving and pulling that went unpunished. And a lot of dives that were just ignored.

you’ll get mad at me for saying this…but cloud gaming is so obviously more economically efficient than physical hardware I think it’s going to be the default soon. your home console / pc is idle 90%+ of the day. meanwhile, data centers targets what, 5%, maybe at worst 10% idle. every second a cloud gamer isn’t gaming, that hardware is being used for someone else, training, etc. I think there should be a new measurement, something like cost-per effective FLOP hour that takes into account the TCO + effective utilization. If a gamer spends $500 on a GPU, uses it for 3 years, but it’s only fully active ~5% of that period…the cost-per relative FLOP hour is crazy high! Meanwhile, a $50,000 datacenter GPU might have a *LOWER* cost-per FLOP hour just because the effective utilization is 90+%.

This entire situation is frustrating ❤️‍🩹 As a minority who has experienced racism, I DESPISE misuse of the term and the race baiting. I need to say this for transparency: When Jay first asked me how much to donate to this cursed tournament I suggested $600 to double the original $600 prize pool. But he was so generous and decided to give $1400 for an even $2k He didn’t have to be nice to this stranger but he thought he was doing something good for small streamers in the community. So for the person to pocket the prize pool and then pull the race card…that’s hurts. A lot. It’s not about the money, it’s about being dragged for doing something we thought was good. We will not stop trying to do the right thing 😭 I hope they will too
