@MattTestifies The man who became a god
The brother of Satan
Not eternal being
God the father has a body like us.
Convenient to leave stuff off
English

What do people think Latter-day Saints mean when we say we literally worship Jesus Christ?
Because to us, He is not a side note.
He is the Only Begotten of the Father in the flesh.
The Creator under the Father’s direction.
Jehovah of the Old Testament.
The promised Messiah.
The Son of God.
The Savior of the world.
The Redeemer.
The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Our Advocate with the Father.
The resurrected Lord.
The head of His Church.
The Holy One of Israel.
The King of Kings.
So yes, we worship Jesus Christ.
Gladly. Fully. Unapologetically.
English

@shadmbrooks Red herring obviously you cannot expect me to have known all your works and videos when I ask you a question. I will 100% be watching your video because I am genuinely curious on what LDS actually believe. So you believe father, son and holy spirit are 3 seperate God's working
English

@TylanWheeler Refusing to answer? I've written academic papers on it and multiple videos

The Trinity is not Christian!
Honestly though, I don’t care about the Trinity.
Believing in the wrong metaphysical nature of Christ does not condemn you to eternal torture.
But, okay trinitarians, I’ll play by YOUR rules. You started this fight by attacking us Mormons and calling us demonic. By YOUR standard, a Christian is someone who believes in the correct metaphysical nature of Jesus and NOT believing that Christ is the son of God and saviour of mankind and following his teachings. Well then, the trinity is NOT taught in the Bible. There is literally no place it says God and Jesus are the same "essence" or "substance", but multiple scriptures describing them as separate entities, ergo by your standard, the trinity is not Christian and YOU are NOT CHRISTIANS!
Repent you demonic heretics!
Is that mean? Am I being a meanie poo? That is exactly how many trinitarians treat Mormons. Maybe you shouldn’t throw stones from glass houses, hypocrites.
We’d be much more effective in being brothers in Christ and fighting the true evils of this world together rather than fighting each other, but you guys attack us all the time, picking fights and starting beef when there was no need. Your doctrine is unbiblical, illogical, hypocritical, cruel, abominable, and you have perpetrated atrocities in the name of the trinity throughout history and we can EASILY prove it. Because when attacked again and again, eventually, we fight back.
English

@shadmbrooks Not only are you miss representing the Trinity, which is fine. But you are refusing to answer the question most likely because you know that if yes then it goes against the Bible that there is no other gods before and will never be another God. Jesus Christ is eternal.
English

@TylanWheeler Was Jesus a mortal man? - Yes.
Did he ascend (or return) unto Godhood? - Yes
Does the trinity say God and Jesus are the same essence and substance? - Yes.
Ergo, the trinity believes God was once a mortal man who ascended unto Godhood.
English

@shadmbrooks No no no. We Jesus Christ is the physical revelation of the 1 Eternal God. We do not believe that Jesus was a man who ascended into godhood. But please my question is genuine. Do the LDS not believe what I said?
English

@TylanWheeler "Do you or do you not believe God was a man with flesh and blood that became a god?"
That's literally what you believe in the trinity through Jesus Christ.
Is Jesus Christ God?
English

@shadmbrooks Its truly ironic that LDS started by telling all other Christian groups that they were wrong and that the true gospel was revealed to Joseph Smith after he asked God to reveal the right denomination and now they are mad that people tell them they aren't Christians.
English

@NiccoloGiovanni @McBrideLawNYC Yes the early Church argued and believed many things throught their writings. The Church did not. Certain bishops were only starting to argue it hundreds of years after Christ.
English

@TylanWheeler @McBrideLawNYC The early church believed in the Eucharist.
English

Where were you, Evangelicals?
Where were you when the Crusaders marched under the Cross?
Where were you when the Vikings cast aside their pagan gods and entered the Church?
Where were you when Spain fought for centuries to reclaim Christian land?
Where were you when the cathedrals of Europe rose toward heaven?
Where were you when the first universities opened under the authority of the Church?
Where were you when missionaries crossed oceans to baptize nations?
Where were you when Christian civilization was forged?
Where were you before the Protestant revolt?
You were nowhere.
Because you did not exist.
English

@semitic_jew You are a joker because you are purposeful trying to make it sound like this was a racial slur against Israelites. Have a nice day.
English

@TylanWheeler Go joke w ya momma. I dont joke.
$FAT MONEY@herumaatra
@semitic_jew Just in case you guys were wondering how it sounds
English

@jeffcharlesjr Or the "outrage" is blown out of proportion and just propaganda.
English

It should win ALL the Oscars.
Not because I think it deserves it.
But because of the outrage and whining that will ensue.
I'm petty like that.
Zeitclip@zeitclip
"Sinners" has triggered the Woke Right because: 1) It's not about white people. 2) They don't understand most references because they lack proximity to Black people or Black culture. 3) They cling desperately to a romanticized version of American history and it upsets their paradigm. How many Oscars should it win tonight?
English

Christians are shocked when they learn Latter-day Saints reject the infallibility of scripture.
But infallibility doesn't mean much for metaphor, poetry, parable, etc. What even is an infallible metaphor?
Even some straight facts in the Bible are wrong. For example, the Gospel of Mark says David ate the consecrated bread when Abiathar was the high priest, while 1 Samuel says Ahimelech was high priest.
Scriptural reliability trumps scriptural infallibility.
Frank Turek@DrFrankTurek
All the Bible is literally true, but it's not always expressed literally.
English

@TheSkepticWiz You set up your own strawman and then attacked it. Its everything that has. Beginning has a cause. God has no Beginning therefore no cause.
English

@Grownded @popecreighton @locke_or_demos To clarify "being" meaning what you are and persons being who you are. So do Mormons believe God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one being, therefore one God or are they all seperate God like entities not one. And I don't mean they work together i mean there is one and only one.
English

We do not believe they are the same being. We believe that they are one in purpose, will and thought, in every possible way except beingness.
We do believe that when Jesus said he did only those things he saw the Father do, in regards to his own resurrection, that the Father is also embodied, the same as Christ. How that came to be, we do not have divine revelation, so anything on that topic is pure speculation.
English

They can't help but repeat falsehoods, and they don't even know the Bible
❄️ Winter Hail ❄️@Hail_Winter
In Mormonism they teach that God is created and once had a god himself. One day we can become gods and goddesses. This is blasphemy. Mormons are not Christians. You cannot save yourself, only Jesus Christ can save you. I pray that each Mormon can know this.
English

@Grownded @popecreighton @locke_or_demos Thank you for clarifying that. So do Mormons ( and sorry but Mormon is ez to type the lader day saints) believe that God the father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all one in being but 3 in nature? Also is it not believed then that God has a freshly body then?
English

None of them taught that. There is no doctrine in our church regarding premortal "Spirit birth" of Jesus or any one else, and the Lucifer thing is a extrapolation of all spirits being children of God, even the ones that rebelled. But no one teaches Lucifer is the brother of Jesus.
The only ones who say that, who ever said that, are critics of the Church.
English

@Grownded @popecreighton @locke_or_demos You said that Jesus had always been God. So did Joseph smith or Brigham young not teach that Jesus was born by God and that his brother is lucifer?
English

@TylanWheeler @popecreighton @locke_or_demos You rejected what I said to you, and persisted in false accusations.
Come back when you learn what I believe instead of tell me what I believe.
English

@Grownded @popecreighton @locke_or_demos I asked a question to clarify what you believe and you stopped.
English

@TylanWheeler @popecreighton @locke_or_demos You haven't referenced our doctrine yet for me to get offended by it.
Come back when you know the doctrine
English

@popecreighton @locke_or_demos @Grownded Its hilarious that Mormons get offended about being called out on their doctrine not being Christian but have a beliefe that they alone have the true doctrine from a man who has proven to be false time and time again.
English

@BradWitbeck I will mock other faiths just as the prophets did when coming against false gods.
English

@Grownded @shadmbrooks @realDailyWire @JoeHeschmeyer @RealMattFradd I asked simple questions with no hostility. You cant answer me shows you either cant say because your pride wont show you that Joseph Smith made many false prophecies or at the very least you are refusing to share the "true gospel" to me which should be concerning.
English

@TylanWheeler @shadmbrooks @realDailyWire @JoeHeschmeyer @RealMattFradd Just because you misunderstand... Basically everything Joseph said, and I have neither the time nor inclination to correct you with your hostile attitude doesn't mean I can't answer you.
I means you aren't worth answering.
English

Absolute hypocrites, liars, and FRAUDS!
@realDailyWire @JoeHeschmeyer and @RealMattFradd
