@tetheredtoed1 Reminds me of every useless PD I did in NC for 9 years.

@FixingEducation Leaving the US to teach abroad in Singapore.

@mmpadellan This is their third election in a row this has happened in NC, for governor anyways. This election made even more sense bc Robinson was so awful
English

@TheOnlyEsta From NC and no and yes I voted for Harris. Once all the votes are counted I think we will see the popular vote is closer than ppl thought. It’s also typical for NC to have this split. Would rather move on versus dwelling like 2020 Trumpers.
English

@WomenBeingAwful I don’t really care about tattoos, but being debt free is crucial. Especially in today’s world.
English

@TheOnlyEsta We cannot become the 2020 Trumper conspiracists. It’s a bad look and we lost badly because of a weak campaign with dozens of problems.
English

@ClayTravis Dems will never win an election again. This shouldn’t even be discussed. It’s such a small fringe issue.
English

@Lee_in_Iowa Same happened in NC mostly, could it be that Harris was that deeply unpopular and didn’t run a great campaign? Our local Dems ran amazing campaigns. Just a thought.
English

So tell me, kids,
How did Harris not win Pennsylvania?

BREAKING 🚨🚨‼️‼️ Every Democrat up for reelection on Tues in the PA House has now won. Every single one. This session we delivered $1.3 B in more public school funding, property tax & rent relief, & tripled child tax credit. No vouchers. Dems maintain control of PA House!!

@libsoftiktok It looks like she is struggling with consistent loneliness and just wants people to hang out with. She’s craving and needing relationships.
English

@PamKeithFL Happened a lot in NC. I think ppl don’t want to accept that Harris wasn’t a desirable candidate. I voted Harris and blue but I know many didn’t.
English

@ElieNYC This is the same Rogan that hosted Sanders, Yang, and Cornel West. Numerous scientists, like Neil DeGrasse Tyson several times, etc. Rogan is the liberals own Rogan. I voted for Harris, but she missed a big opportunity here.
English

@turtledumplin Turns out the left (I voted for Harris) is much more exclusive and leaves little room for discussion. Like you said, it’ll be our downfall.
English

Our side lost because of the intolerance of the tolerant left. If you don’t see that, then we will keep losing.
People didn’t vote for Trump, they voted against you.
They voted against your “if you don’t agree with me then you’re my enemy” mentality.
They voted against your need to have an echo chamber or risk being canceled.
They voted against being attacked for a difference in opinion.
They voted against being called pedos, racists, homophobes, Nazis simply for disagreeing with you.
They voted for the right to keep YOU out of decisions for their children.
They voted against having to walk on eggshells for fear of offending someone.
I don’t care who I piss off by saying this, step out of the tunnel vision and have a civil conversation with folks and take responsibility for your part in pushing people, who are on the fence, to vote against you.
English

@PamKeithFL Objectively, I voted for Harris, but Trump enlisted the help of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, and Vivek Ramaswamy and it worked when you look at the data. They got more white men out to vote. A missed opportunity by Harris IMO
English

@dtheavenger Democrats are notorious for not showing up to vote. I also imagine the data shows that he won over some college students because he strategically worked to target them with Turning Point USA and among minority voters, probably gained some ground. Just wasn’t a well run campaign
English

@JamesAFurey As a former public education teacher I did the same. I knew what the IEP said but always downgraded the services for things like note taking, naps, etc. Never once did I regret it.
English

Working at a private school, as I do, we don't have IEPs. Instead, we have something called "service plans." As such, we're not as beholden to follow them as public school teachers.
So, I start off the year not following them. I just hold those students to the same standards as everyone else.
And guess what? The vast majority of the kids with service plans do just as well as those without them. Why? Because they're made up. And they're made up to lower the standards for students who normally don't want to do the work.
It's the same with IEPs, you know. We just excuse huge swaths of kids from doing what they are capable of doing.

@LeadingReport This thread…please name one elective surgery minors can undergo without parental consent…just one…please, if you’re going to vote, be smarter!
