Ilya Sorokin nor any goalie for that matter was winning them that game with the urgency they showed.
People can rip Roy’s decision all the way, Rittich was left out to dry.

@RTaub_ I had a major problem going with Rittich. There’s 11 games left. You only play rittich on back to backs if neccessary. Beside for those, you play your Vezina goaltender who got you here.

As much as I’d rather be a solid #2 in the Metro, I am in the minority that believes the Loser Point is good for the game. It draws anticipation and excitement, which draws in viewership which grows the game. More on the line. More to fight for. More exciting hockey.

Feel like it’s time we start really talking about the loser point and the overall point system in the NHL. Should they incentivize winning more and go to a 3 points for a win and 1 for the loser point? Or maybe even only a loser point for a shootout loss 🤔. #Isles #NHL
