I was sitting in the stands for the Browns v. Bills game. There was a Caucasian male who appeared to be in his early 30’s sitting two seats away from me. This man’s wife sat between the two of us. This man was draped in full Cleveland Browns attire, including his hat, jacket, pants, gloves, and the homemade Cleveland Browns sign that he had apparently drawn up on the fly. Shedeur Sanders took off for an ELECTRIC run. I jumped up from my seat. Dude leaned across his wife following that play, and while smiling with a face full of hope, he asked, “You a Browns fan?!” At this point, his wife also turned to face me while cheesing from ear-to-ear, and eagerly awaiting my response.” While pausing in between bites of my large pretzel, I turned to this lovely couple, and with a straight face said, “No. I am a Shedeur Sanders fan. Been rockin with him since high school. If he leaves tomorrow, I’ll be gone with him.” Both of their faces immediately sobered up. The man leaned back in his seat. I casually went back to enjoying my large pretzel. I have no allegiance to losers. For those who are claiming that I know nothing about the game, my cousin played 11 years as a Wide Receiver in the NFL. He was a starter for 10 years. My nephew played 3 years as a Safety in the NFL prior to retiring. He was a starter for all three of those years. I’ve been attending NFL games since 1986. I’ve been on NFL fields and sidelines. I’ve been in NFL player parking lots. I’ve been in NFL family meeting rooms. I’ve been in NFL locker rooms. I’ve read through NFL playbooks. I’ve met with NFL coaches and GM’s, and enjoyed dinners at steakhouses with NFL players and agents. I’ve attended NFL training camps. Of the 32 current NFL teams, I have visited 12 stadiums while attending NFL games. I know the game in and out. I am not some novice who just woke up one morning, and started posting about the Cleveland Browns. Shedeur Sanders is a DAWG. I know a DAWG when I see a DAWG. I don’t care about stats. I don’t care about INT’s. I’ve been around the game long enough to where I can watch the action for 10-15 minutes and recognize who the DAWGS are. If I am being completely honest, I don’t want Shedeur in Cleveland. They are a historically awful organization, but if God wills that he should be there………then I’m rollin till the WHEELS fall off. I repeat: I have no allegiance to losers. Losing is a mentality. Losing is a culture. Losing is a belief system. Losing warps perceptions, and stunts good judgment. Losing will have a Head Coach standing on the sidelines in training camp watching Shedeur and Dillon going through reps, and thinking that Dillon is the superior talent of the two. The End
