Ineos veteran 🇬🇧 Ben Swift earns DS qualification but keeps his options open 🗣️"Still enjoying it. Still did an alright lead out. As soon as you lose that enjoyment and you can't push yourself to the limit, then that's the time. But just keep your options open." 📰 domestiquecycling.com/en/news/ineos-… 📸 Cor Vos

@BenjiNaesen but he should still have stayed on wheel until the gap was closed and then counterattack rather than do a lead-out

Patrick Eddy wins the Australian National Road Championships after Picnic PostNL didn't extend his contract, ending up on Australian continental team Brennan. Curious if a WorldTour or ProTeam will pick him up now...

This latest reel, might just be a bit of a fun but also to show how fun(psychotic) getting stuck into new disciplines has been. I’m happy with where I am at and have spoken to some great people in such a short time, managing full time work and trying to train at elite level,1/2

@Cyclingpredpt they've also signed one of the worlds best sprinters and made a bike for him which is quick in what he needs to do plus so many other fast riders and will lose Derek Gee fro good money, I think they will have a good season

🇨🇭NSN Cycling Team - 2026 Analysis & Preview Formally known as Israel–Premier Tech they managed to reach WorldTour status thanks to a very strong 2025 season. It was a team that delivered several high-level results, especially in stage races. They finished 4th overall at the Giro d’Italia with Derek Gee, and 5th overall at the Vuelta a España with Mathieu Riccitello, also winning the young riders classification. These results alone were crucial in securing promotion. But the success was not limited to those two riders. Corbin Strong, Oded Kogut, Riley Sheehan, Hugo Hofstetter, Ethan Vernon and others all contributed solid performances across the season, including at Pro Continental and Continental level. Overall, it was a collective effort that allowed the team to move up to the WorldTour. 📝 Signs The standout name is clearly Biniam Girmay. Girmay comes off a relatively average season, where he was often close to winning but failed to convert opportunities into victories. He joins Israel–Premier Tech with the aim of relaunching his career. That said, I am somewhat skeptical. Another interesting signing is Lewis Askey, a promising sprinter/punchour who can also adapt well to certain one-day races. Brady Gilmore also joins the team after progressing through the development squad. He was very successful at Continental level, winning numerous races, and this move is a natural next step in his career. 👋🏻Departures Mathieu Riccitello is clearly a rider for the future, and his 5th place overall at the Vuelta, combined with winning the youth classification, made him one of the key pillars of the team. Derek Gee also leaves, which means the team loses both of its Grand Tour GC leaders at once. Pascal Ackermann also departs. While no longer at his peak, he still managed to deliver a victory for the team. He remains an interesting sprinter, but it is clear that his best years are behind him. The team also parts ways with several veterans: Michael Woods, Jakob Fuglsang and Chris Froome. Of these, Michael Woods was the one that gaved solid results and contributing meaningfully. Fuglsang’s signing never truly worked out, while Froome’s time at the team was, quite frankly, a disastrous investment. 🤔 Outlook for 2026 Looking ahead to 2026, this is a team that has lost its two main riders for Grand Tour general classifications. The focus will clearly shift towards Girmay, classics racing and sprint-oriented objectives. The squad has several riders suited to these terrains, including Ethan Vernon, Corbin Strong, Jake Stewart, Riley Sheehan, Oded Kogut, Hugo Hofstetter and Lewis Askey. All of them are capable of performing well in selective one-day races and sprints. That said, the roster still feels somewhat short in depth for WorldTour demands. I believe NSN Cycling will be a team fighting primarily to avoid relegation, rather than one consistently competing for top-tier results. This new project, now rebranded as NSN Cycling under the ownership of Andrés Iniesta, enters the WorldTour with ambition, but also with significant challenges ahead. #Cycling #Cycling2026 #CyclingSeason2026 #CyclingPreview #CyclingAnalysis #NSNCyclingTeam
