pinning this because my sports allegiances may be confusing- my dad went to tennessee and he instilled his passion in me and by age 10 derek dooley led teams had me melting down on a regular basis. i wanted to go to tennessee but out of state tuition was too expensive, the next best in-state option was virginia tech. i knew id always be a diehard tennessee fan and i loved my time at virginia tech. i found that east tennessee and southwest virginia have a lot of cultural similarities. i’ll ride and die with both universities until my days are up and if they end up in the same conference one day i hope they don’t play each other annually 😬 i was born and primarily raised in northern virginia so im DC sports through and through: commies, caps, wizards, nats, and i guess the mystics and dc united DC🏛️ UT🍊 VT🦃

Tanking won’t be this prevalent next year, it’s hitting another level this year because there’s 3 maybe 4 franchise changing prospects and you’re giving 14 teams a chance at that. If you’re going to make a seismac change just remove the lottery, make it like the NFL and you will limit the amount of teams tanking team, imo.
