Sat next to Josh Harris on my flight home yesterday after his commute back from FAU. We talked about IU, the portal, and why he left. He said the coaches wanted him to stay, but couldn’t promise much playing time with the talent coming in. Now he’s healthy, has been cleared for five weeks, and gets a chance to play somewhere his parents can actually get to. He also said some of the messages he received were awful, which is crazy considering he didn’t even play last year. Said it didn’t impact his decision, but he didn’t expect people to go that far.
