@KeeganMatheson Theres your issues right there. You cant replace clutch hitting. 3rd in Baseball last season.
What idiot gives away the guy that hits a 3 run shot in game 7.
@Jak1887@KeeganMatheson Injuries have killed them 2 of their best 3 hitter with RISP are on the IL. Bichette was also 3rd in all of baseball with a .380 average with RISP. Not sure Atkins thought that one through.
@KeeganMatheson I don’t get all these daily fvcking changes to the starting rotation. Not even Caribbean baseball managers wake up every morning spinning the lineup wheel like this😡🖕
So...what the heck do the Jays do when Lukes and Barger are back (which could both be around the same time?) Does Piñango go down again? What about the other spot? They're so left-handed as it is
If George Springer and Vladimir Guerrero Jr walked up the plate without a baseball bat the game would be tied 7-7 and the bases would've been loaded with just 1 out for Okamoto.
This swing at everything approach is disgusting and the biggest reason they don't slug.
@GrindeOptions $NVDA down 1.5% overnight going into its own earnings Wednesday is actually the setup you want. I would rather this then pump into earnings
@BartGinson The simple answer is NO. They actually can't. They can DFA him and hope he clears waivers. That's the only way he can go to AAA. If they DFA him and no on takes on his contract he can elect free agency. A team can sign him for league min. Jays pay 500 mil less league min.
@Damon98_ Varsho doesn’t hit well in the spot light. He excels as a 5-7 guy. Springer should be the cleanup hitter. This whole lead off nonsense for a guy that doesn’t even play the field anymore is crazy
MY lineup tomorrow if I could do it for one day:
Clement 2B
Pinañgo LF
Okamoto 3B
Varsho CF
Guerrero Jr 1B
Valenzuela C
Springer DH
Gímenez SS
Straw RF
This is for one fucking day so don't lose your minds.
This was one of the more out-of-sync swings I've seen from Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
No threat of hard contact on that swing and his lower body wasn't involved much at all, which is where his incredible natural power comes from. #BlueJays
@MDIntel44@Yesavage2HOF So dont use him in that role. I wouldn't bring Spencer Miles in a one run game in the ninth when I still have Rogers, Varland or Fluharty as options either. But Hoffman with a 2 run lead in the 7th against the 7-8-9 batters is a great use for him.
Jeff Hoffman this season:
6.05 ERA
3.16 FIP
2.23 xFIP
2.21 SIERA
35.4% K rate
8.3% walk rate
.510 BABIP (Yes you read that right)
Can’t get anymore unlucky and frustrating than this.
