The mandatory criteria for NFL MVP should be: QB Make the Playoffs Top 2 seed in your conference So this year the top 4 finalists should have been: Sam Darnold Bo Nix Drake Maye Caleb Williams This year’s MVP (Stafford) was a 5 seed, and was the first time the NFL MVP didn’t lead his team to a top 2 seed over at least the past 10 years. Also, voters shouldn’t be able to vote for a player that wasn’t a finalist (like Justin Herbert). That’s a waste of a vote.
