@reverendkjr @Deck_Ready A standalone device with native SteamVR running Linux, capable of running half life Alex on low graphics. A port for a dongle of sorts to support fbt trackers. Eye tracking built in for soviated rendering, and a face tracking add-on for dedicated consumers.

@Deck_Ready I'm curious... what are your expectations for said product? What would you need it to be for it to be a true contender in the market?

Rumor going around that Steam Frame will be announced November 12th. I’ll believe it when I see it but I want it to be true.

If you do port it to java it would bring a lot of possibilities with mods: - People can experience your world with mods that enhance nostalgia like Legacy4J - Players Can experience your lovely world in VR, and get a sense of real depth and scale - Shaders with Distant Horizions

I bought it on Bedrock marketplace, and then tried to use chunker to convert it to java, however marketplace worlds are encrypted so you really can't do that....
