Why we aren't getting gameplay yet @RockstarGames always follows a strict rollout: first comes the Cinematic Trailer, then Official Screenshots, and only much later the Gameplay Reveal. We are still in the early cinematic phase. ​ Earnings calls (like the one in the image) are for investors to discuss revenue projections. They focus on fiscal years, not frame rates or game mechanics. ​The "Polish" Phase: Gameplay is usually shown only when the game is "feature complete" and undergoing final optimization. Showing it too early risks graphical bugs that would hurt the hype. Rockstar typically saves the gameplay walkthrough for the last 3-6 months before launch to maximize pre-orders. Since we are likely a year or more away, it’s simply too early.
