Without a Black woman, NASA would never have made it out of Earth or reached the Moon. Katherine Johnson (born Creola Katherine Coleman) was a pioneering NASA "human computer" who calculated the trajectories, launch windows, and emergency return paths essential for NASA to reach the Moon.

The debate on education financing must now move from concern to action. UNATU’s advocacy priorities remain clear: investment is needed in the scheme of service for teachers, fair salary enhancement, professional development, support to teachers’ SACCOs, operational costs of public schools, teaching and learning resources, and closing teacher gaps. The policy brief also points to practical financing options, including fair and progressive taxation, closing tax loopholes, fighting corruption, and addressing debt pressures that continue to crowd out spending on essential services like education. Public education must be funded, protected, and strengthened. download the policy brief unatu.org/download/unatu… #EducationFinancing #GoPublic #FundEducation #UNATU #PublicEducation #AllTeachersMatter

@OnyaitChurchill @klup True! If we start fronting tribal issues yet there's much more we must fight for other than cry about, we're simply tying up our legs and then yearning to run. Let's not keep ourselves in Dreamland!!

@klup You just have personal agendas. The fact that you are white makes me less interested in this troll. Uganda’s problem is not people’s names and stop playing tribal cards to divide us. We are one Uganda, fight the injustices not names. Plus, readabout her work not name!!!!!
