@TysonScott94 @Plantmore1 @BruceFarming I am not a liar. Different soil type I guess for you. I am the one that was seeding down my fertilizer tube last year to get depth to moisture. Our Bourgault achieved depth through seed tube. To each his own.

@KellyDBeattie @Plantmore1 @BruceFarming Don’t believe that for 1 second actually. We were bone dry here. Couldn’t pay me a cent to run a Bourgault over a Vaderstad. Technology wise. Seed placement. Fuel savings. Midrows can be cut off and thrown in a slough.

@Plantmore1 @BruceFarming Not obvious. Wheels do hover in some uneven terrain. I’d be curious if they allowed manual adjustment of the seed opener deeper if I could achieve proper penetration.

@MoneoDallas Did you seed down fert knife or seed? Is there any seeds below? I always found bad bounce behind the fert knife on seed hawk and see high up like that, shitty either way, crazy wind

New Land, low organic matter. They were just poking out of the ground before the 100km winds. Peas are rooted, think they keep growing? Wind took it right down to the seed. Just hill tops, maybe 20%.

Seeding has been extended again for NE Sask. First too much snow/water, then cold spring temps, now more snow. Haven’t turned a wheel yet for seeding and not sure when we will start.
