Currently, risk checks are conducted at the following checkpoints: - Once before a funded account is assigned after successfully passing Phase 2 or Phase 3 - Once after a withdrawal request is submitted However, this process is being upgraded, and with upcoming technology improvements, risk checks will soon be implemented in near real time to provide faster breach detection and clearer account status updates for traders. The account being allowed to continue trading does not mean the activity was compliant. When a payout request is made, a full audit of trading activity is performed, and any previously identified violations are applied at that stage. Hard breaches identified during this review cannot be reversed. Regarding fairness, the same rules and review procedures are applied equally to all traders. Each account is reviewed individually based on trading activity, timestamps, exposure calculations, and overall rule compliance. Outcomes may differ between traders because account types have different rules. For example, QT Power accounts allow news trading, whereas other account types do not. All rules are publicly available in our FAQs and enforced consistently following Risk Team review.

Hi @QtFunded, If the rule was violated, why wasn’t my account breached immediately? On that day, my account had already reached a 3% loss. If you had breached it right away, I would not be questioning this. Instead, the account was allowed to continue trading until the payout stage, and only then was the breach applied. That is what feels unfair to me. Additionally, is this rule applied equally to all traders? I noticed that another trader from QT traded on the same day, did not receive any breach notification, and his account remains active. He has also received his payout. Could you please clarify how this rule is enforced and whether it is applied consistently to all traders? Hi Tharmesh, Thank you for your post, and apologies as it appears this was missed earlier on our timeline. After review, the breaches related to the WEF Annual Meetings are correct and valid. On January 21, the WEF Annual Meetings were marked on the ForexFactory calendar as a red folder all day event affecting all pairs. Under Section 7, point 3 of our News Rule, events such as major geopolitical or global economic developments can cause extreme volatility, widened spreads, and liquidity disruptions across all instruments. As such, these events are considered market wide and apply to all currency pairs. Additionally, our News Rule clearly states that for all day red folder events, trading is restricted for the entire duration of the event. Therefore, when an event is marked as all day on the ForexFactory calendar, trading is not permitted during that period. However, the breaches have been reviewed by the Risk Team and are fully in line with our publicly available rules, which are applied equally to all traders.
