My Journey with Linea 🧵: A Tale of Transformation 2019 is when I first stumbled into the world of Ethereum. Back then, it was a world of endless possibilities—a decentralized utopia where finance, governance, and creativity flourished without barriers.

👉Encouraging people to hold your token with promises of possible airdrops from third parties that might happen someday, maybe many, maybe even big ones… basically "just hold and we'll see later" – that's a very shady practice. 🗓️And when those promises come literally the next day after you've completely botched your own airdrop – it's nothing short of pathetic. I remember two relatively recent examples of this kind of communication: ❎@zksync – after a very controversial airdrop, big community backlash, and terrible token performance, the zkSync founder tried to convince users not to dump their tokens, claiming that future projects would likely reward those who held their zkSync airdrop instead of selling. How many airdrops did zkSync holders actually get more than a year after TGE? I can recall just one – @sophon – and even there it only mattered that you had claimed $ZK airdrop, not whether you held or dumped on day one. ❎@celestia – token pumped hard after TGE mostly because of expectations of future airdrops from Cosmos ecosystem projects and other partners to TIA stakers. We saw an impressive ~10x rally up to a $20B FDV. But the longer it went, the clearer it became – there would be no significant airdrops, and the only real winners were the VCs, who has been dumping their tokens all the time. Now the TIA chart looks like one of the worst among major altcoins, and community sentiment is at rock bottom. ❔I really hope this isn't $LINEA path. But right now, it strongly feels like the team has just completely abandoned the community.
