#Avalanche #WasatchCounty Wasatch Co Sheriff: Avalanche in Snake Creek area W of Midway ~4:30pm today (2/22/26). Adult male snowmobiler reported buried. Search suspended tonight due to unstable conditions & ongoing hazard. Control explosives planned; ops resume 2/23. The DPS Helicopter along with Airmed responded to assist when they ran out of daylight. The DPS Helicopter did take up an #avalanche expert to get an overview of the slide so they can make plans for tomorrow. AVOID the area incl. Pine Canyon Rd.
